Industrious municipality of the center of the island, has many deeply rooted customs and traditions of the 'majoreros'. The annual Crafts Fair has become a must for the artisans of the region and in testimony to the traditional vocation of its people.
The coastal landscape includes Las Salinas, unique example of the conventional wisdom: harnessing the tides that recharge water tanks where later, by solar evaporation, sea salt is deposited, and the Torre Fortaleza de Caleta de Fuste century XVIII, located at the entrance of the bay of Caleta de Fuste, currently an unbeatable location for holidays with children for the special security of its beach, and also boasts a first class Marina.
Highlights of the landscape, endless plains, the architecture of villages of Castilian-Manchego reminiscent doubt, because of its presence in the landscape, gofio mills, offering a double reading that speaks on the one hand, the domain of trade winds on the plain and the other cereal tradition of the area.
